Torres fashions Thai market

Torres Design Associates and its recently formed Bangkok office Torres Asia have designed a new retail concept for Hong Kong womenswear chain Theme’s first shop in Thailand, opening later this month.

Although Theme has been successful in Hong Kong, the concept needed adjusting for the different market in Bangkok.

The new 240m2 scheme features limestone flooring with natural finishes in sisal, antique tiles and teak wardrobe-style display units. A country house-style dressing area features over-stuffed chairs.

Torres Asia is now working on Theme outlets in Thailand and on other retail concepts for Thai client The Central Group.
