Enterprise recruits digital staff

Enterprise IG’s London office has expanded its e-business and creative teams in light of an increased number of projects in both areas.

Following its successful digital media work for business consultant Arthur Andersen, petrochemical Web portal Trade Ranger, Invest UK and Workthing.com, Enterprise IG has appointed Alan Dawson to head its e-business branding division. He previously developed Ernst & Young’s on-line strategy and founded leisure portal Nextweekend.com.

Referring to Dawson’s appointment, Enterprise IG managing director Patrick Smith says: “E-business is now running at over 40 per cent of our turnover and is, therefore, a vital part of our business. Bringing Alan’s unique skills strengthens the team enormously.”

Meanwhile, a creative director, two senior designers and four designers have joined the group.

Creative director Neil Gaught previously ran his own company, Design FX, while Grant Russell and Davon Pointer worked at Minale Tattersfield and Hollander Communications before joining Enterprise IG in senior roles.

Designers Paul Silcox, Ariella Friend, Mark Bowley and Sajid Shafique have also been recruited by Enterprise IG.
