Agenda joins museum’s drive

The Museum of Childhood in east London’s Bethnal Green has appointed Agenda Design to create promotional material.

Leaflets will form the core of the museum’s marketing drive this year. It is undergoing an extensive refurbishment programme by architect Caruso St John and, as a result, is suspending its temporary exhibitions programme for a year.

It is very important that the museum’s profile among consumers doesn’t slip, says the museum’s marketing manager Kate Bines, and the leaflets will be the only piece of consumer-facing information. They are scheduled to be published at the end of February.

The leaflets will be available in tourist information offices, libraries and other local points.

Agenda won the work after a three-way creative, unpaid pitch against Whippet Design and Ninetyseven. The three consultancies were shortlisted from an original list of six.
