Red Cross takes route by Design Conspiracy

The British Red Cross is co-ordinating a pan-European road safety campaign, with an identity and design toolkit created by Design Conspiracy.

The consultancy is producing guidelines for three strands of communication, targeting children, young adults and adult drivers. These will be applied to a range of media, including posters, leaflets, stickers, a comic book and a colouring book.

The campaign will launch next week under the banner One Life – Protect It. It is a collaboration between Red Cross organisations in each country and is sponsored by car manufacturer Toyota.

‘Rather than create everything in different languages, we will send out a brand guidelines kit, so each country can build posters from different elements,’ says consultancy partner Ben Terrett.

Design Conspiracy was appointed after a credentials pitch in February.
