Shout Design puts Nesa identity together

Nesa, one of the main arts development organisations for Bath and North East Somerset, is unveiling a redrawn identity created by Shout Design.

Shout was appointed following a three-way pitch held in August 2004. The identity launches in April and will run across all affiliated materials, including stationery and annual reports.

The revised marque is intended to reflect the linking and coming together of artists, partners and funders from across the region. It was developed along a simple brand positioning line, says Mark Benham, design director at Shout.

Nesa considered changing its name, but decided to retain the existing title to avoid any potential confusion from parties that were already participating in events.

Nesa runs various arts projects that cover painting, pottery, writing, singing, sculpture, dance, printmaking, digital art, photography, textiles, circus skills, theatre, video and music.
