Mark Design helps Conservatoire dance to a new online beat

Mark Design is redeveloping the website for the Conservatoire for Dance and Drama, an umbrella organisation of eight dance, drama and circus skills schools.

The consultancy was appointed in November 2010, having designed the CDD’s annual review.

Mark Design director Gus Mark says, ’The current site was very dry – it didn’t reflect the energy of the organisation.’

The consultancy was briefed to create a ’contemporary’ design that visually represents the schools’ breadth of activities, and to simplify site navigation. Senior designer Lou Eldon adds, ’The black references black staging – it’s clean, crisp and contemporary.’
