workthing.com, The Guardian Media Group’s on-line recruitment specialist, is to launch a revamped website in the autumn, designed by Fitch.
A Fitch spokeswoman says the site is being redesigned because of competition in the on-line recruitment market, which has increased since the existing site, created by Enterprise IG, was launched in July last year.
“The site is very rich with advice on jobs but the navigation could be improved to make more of the depth of the site,” a Workthing.com spokeswoman adds.
Fitch, which won the work via a three-way paid creative pitch, will focus on making the process of searching for a job much easier for the user, with the interactive elements of the site more prominent. It will also offer job hunters professional help with managing and furthering their careers.
