Adam Rawls expansion continues with new post

Howard Saunders has joined Adam Rawls Associates as creative director. Saunders takes up the newly created post as the retail consultancy changes its name to Rawls and Company to mark its recent and ongoing expansion.

Saunders, who recently freelanced after a previous stint at Fitch, is believed to have been courted by both Fitch and 20/20 before accepting Rawls’ offer.

His appointment follows a major expansion programme at the consultancy involving the creation of three other key posts and the name change. The 14-strong group is also looking to appoint three further staff members.

Rawls and Company head Adams Rawls explains: “Business is developing extremely fast. The new posts and the name change have a big significance on the structure of the consultancy and the services offered.” He adds that the changes have come about over the past three months and hopes that the “stronger key players will take a greater share in the business”.

Saunders says one of his aims is “to develop the business in a more strategic way”. Other recent additions to the consultancy include senior designer Dominic Bromfield, previously at John Herbert Partnership, retail interior designer Jackie Latimer, and project manager Neil Jackson, formerly at Grainger Hunt Myring.
