Takashi Sugimoto, founder of Japanese architects Super Potato, has designed the interior for Zuma, an ‘Izakaya’ restaurant due to open in London on 16 May. Sugimoto’s fit-out combines a Zen garden feel with contemporary Eastern designs. This is the first time Sugimoto has worked in Europe. His previous commissions include projects for Sony, Hyatt International and Muji in Japan and the US.
