Flag replants itself as a carbon neutral consultancy

Your average medium-sized consultancy emits enough carbon dioxide to offset 150 trees’ worth of absorption, apparently. It must be all that hot air.

To do their bit for the environment, therefore, the eco-warriors at Flag put on their wellies and planted 150 trees and shrubs at their farmland site in Cambridgeshire.

The team has plans for ‘larger-scale woodland planting later in the year’, presumably if they win a few pitches between now and then. Flag’s office manager Jenny Fulton says, somewhat self-pityingly, ‘All businesses have an impact on the environment – even a company such as Flag.’ Nice new business tactic, guys.
