Students confused into submitting design work

It has been brought to our attention that some confusion may have arisen surrounding the Student Design Awards ‘call for entries’ in the Week Ahead section of Design Week (DW 21 March).

SDA 2002? Royal Society of Arts SDA? www.sda2002.co.uk or www.rsa-sda.net? One and the same? Seemingly not.

Apparently, and this is the funny bit, one (the Royal Society of Arts) is an established award that has been in existence since 1924 and the other (SDA 2002) is a new digital media ‘competition’ set up by the Innovation Centre at the University of Teeside. So that clear’s that one up. Nice.
