Whole day to spend looking at life through no lens

Hold on to your hats, everyone, and keep 28 April a do-free day because you’re going to take a picture with a pinhole camera.

That’s right, it’s Annual Worldwide Pinhole Photography Day (the second one, no less) and you can be much, much more than a mere spectator on the sidelines. Take part, you nutters, just do it.

All you have to do is transform any ‘light-tight’ container, such as a simple oatmeal box, or an industrial wheelie bin as photographer Justin Quinnell did (DW 24 January), into a camera, take the pic, send it to www.pinhole day.org and, bingo, you’re that David Bailey chappy.

It really is that simple.
