Happold – The Confidence to Build by Derek Walker and Bill Addis, explores the life and work of Ted Happold. His distinguished career encompassed both professional and academic achievements and he was knighted for his services to engineering and architecture. His work included Coventry Cathedral, the Sydney Opera House and the Pompidou Centre, Paris. The book costs 39.50 in hardback, and 19.50 in softback.

A revised edition of Selwyn Goldsmith’s Designing for the Disabled has been published by Architectural Press with the added subtitle The New Paradigm. The book retails at 45.

Jan Tschichold – A Life in Typography by Ruari McLean is published by Lund Humphries. Tschichold was one of the most influential typographers this century and this book highlights the continuing relevance of Tschichold’s work for graphic designers today. The book costs 16.50.
