Allen International has designed the identity and interiors for Creative World, a new concept store in Bristol offering craft, hobbies and leisure-related products.
“We wanted to create a fresh and modern environment which is not traditionally associated with craft products,” says Allen designer Mark Hill.
The store, which is aimed at all age groups, is divided into five “worlds” to help guide consumers to their favourite areas. These are delineated by five “focal” arches around the store.
The accompanying logo, a brushstroke star applied to a three-dimensional button, is intended to convey the creativity associated with the store’s product range. The five points of the star represent the five worlds, says an Allen spokeswoman.
Creative World plans to roll out an unspecified number of stores in the next three to five years.
