Siegel & Gale in London is creating a marque for the world’s third biggest insurance company.

The consultancy is presenting designs this week to Allianz, which has its headquarters in Munich. The marque will be unveiled in the new year. S&G won the project through a contact in Germany after a referral from S&G in the US.

The group, which is also carrying out the naming for the Price Waterhouse and Coopers & Lybrand merger, is looking to staff up in London under its managing director Peter Gilson.

Gilson joined S&G in April from Interbrand and is interviewing for a director responsible for corporate strategy and corporate identity, to work with executive creative director Ken Windsor.

Gilson is also boosting the simplified communications side of the business, replacing two consultants who left this autumn.

Rosalind Keen joins this week from Vision in Business, where she was programme manager. She joins Annie Woudhuysen, a freelance writer formerly teaching in The Netherlands, who was brought on board as consultant in the division three weeks ago.
