Logos shape local Government

The Government has unveiled the identities for two new agencies, formed to support and help reinvigorate local government.

The identities for both agencies – the Improvement and Development Agency and the Employers Organisation – have been created jointly by London consultancy HSAG Design and the in-house teams of the Local Government Association and the Local

Government Management Board.

The new agencies will officially replace LGMB on 31 March, when that agency’s two-strong design team will transfer, along with other LGMB staff, to the IDA.

“The IDA’s logo is dynamic to show it is strong on ideas… while the Employers Organisation logo has a more conservative feel,” says a spokeswoman for the new agencies.
