Alive Events’ new identity in touch with its Origin

Cheshire-based consultancy Origin has created the identity for new events management company, Alive Events. It aims to position Alive as a sophisticated business geared towards the corporate market.

A clean, simple concept was key to the success of the design, Origin commercial manager Paul Hartley claims. He says brainstorming around the word event led to words such as special, important and exciting – and led Origin to incorporate an orange star in the logotype and to use metallic ink.

“This is a visual reference to the fact that an important event is usually ‘star’ marked in a diary,” he adds. Alive Events’ identity launches this week. Origin will be looking at its digital output in the New Year.
