Southall, who runs furniture consultancy I Tre in Dorset, briefed designer/makers and contributed his own work to the scheme. The main reception desk (pictured) is Southall’s solution. Other contributions include Neil MacGregor and Valerie Michael’s upholstery of an alcove sofa and seat using Russian leather salvaged after 200 years underwater in a shipwreck. Lighting is by Caroline Vivian of Arcangel.
