Peanut Butter brand Sun-Pat is to be relaunched in a peanut-inspired “personable” new jar designed by PI Design.

A consultancy spokeswoman says that building on the brand’s fun values and PI Design’s original graphics, the new structural design injects an unusual imagery that will appeal to the Nestlé brand’s youth market.

The jar features shoulders and feet and a flip-top cap.

Creative director of structural design Steve Kelsey says the new structure provides character and is also protectable.
