Cambridge is not the centre of the world

Methinks Alan Murphy of Cambridge (Letters DW 22 May), is being ever so slightly cheeky by suggesting most rays of new-product design excellence emanate from the various, nay, specific environs of Cambridge.

His obviously myopic view of the world neglects to see that 99.999 per cent of all efficient, cost-effective design in the entire universe is actually composed away from Cambridge – like here in lovely Sandhurst, for example, where we have been quietly pleasing clients with world-class design for years.
