Drum awards Scots groups

Glasgow consultancy Black picked up three awards and Edinburgh group Pure Design won two at The Drum magazine’s inaugural Scottish Design Awards.

Black was voted best consultancy overall, winning The Drum Grand Prix prize for Tunnel Vision, a website for leisure client Big Beat. It also picked up Best Website and Best Kiosk categories, which it created for the same client.

Pure Design creative director Mick Dean won the Scottish Designer of the Year award. His consultancy also won the Best Item of Self Promotion category for its calendar Just in Time.

Other winners include Tayburn McIIroy Coates, BDG McColl, Skakel & Skakel, Graven Images, Navy Blue Design Consultants and Randak Design Consultants.
