Springpoint has created the name and brand identity for Opus Holdings, formerly the retail network of the Heath Group. The company, acquired by staff in a management buy-out last year, is one of the largest independent insurance broking and financial services groups in the UK.
The name Opus aims to communicate the idea of teamwork, while a sunflower marque emphasises partnership between Opus and its customers. Divisional identities have different petals of the flower missing.
“The total image creates the O for Opus, forming a strong visual identity for this new brand,” says Springpoint creative director Mark Pearce.
Opus launched yesterday.
