Rinderknecht’s car-boat makes Splash in Geneva

It’s finally here, guys, the car of your dreams. It can cruise at 30mph, has a top land speed of 124mph, but best of all it can float and fly. Swiss designer Frank Rinderknecht’s two-seater Splash was launched at the Geneva motor show last week to a hushed audience.

According to reports, the 48-year-old designer says, ‘It looks like a normal sports car, but you can drive into the water and use it as a boat. At the flick of a button, without having to get out of the car, you can activate the wings and it rises out of the water and flies over the surface.’

Could be just what you need the next time you are being chased up the North Circular by foreign agents.
