Hotels group seeks designers

Inter-Continental Hotels and Resorts is to appoint interior designers for its 262-room luxury hotel due to open in early 1997 in Albania’s capital Tirana.

The group intends to start looking at interior designers ‘in about six months time’, says its director of projects (technical services) Glen Cunningham.

Inter-Continental Hotels plans to draw up a shortlist of between six and ten groups from its roster of ’15 to 20 major international design groups with London practices’, Cunningham adds.

The hotel group’s design roster includes Gregory Aeberhard, Ezra Attia & Associates and Richmond International.
