The Design Business Association -run course, Credentials, Presentations & Pitches, is held on 25 May from 9.30am until 5pm. The course is delivered in association with The Preddy Consultancy and offers advice on how to differentiate your offer from your competitors, enabling you to win more business and secure existing contracts.

Why I never grew up: Gerry Anderson on 9 May, is the next British Design & Art Direction’s President’s Lecture. Anderson is an award-winning producer and creator of Thunderbirds.

The next Victoria and Albert Museum Design Forum: Size Matters is held on 10 May from 1pm. The event features Jonathan Glancey, architecture and design correspondent from The Guardian, Richard Seymour from Seymour Powell and others. The event is free although standard museum entry fees will apply.
