Work by fashion designer, turned furniture designer, and then painter, Martine Maria Renais shows at Against the Grain from 9 October until 13 November.

The decline of nature along the coast is the subject for John Kelly’s Forensic Shoreline, showing from 6 October until 2 December. Using found and collected objects displayed in glass jars, the works record the changes that have occurred along the south-east coast line during the foot and mouth crisis and the unprecedented floods of last winter.

Design for All at The Helen Hamlyn Research Associates Show, from 10-18 October, shows the work of recent graduates, which explores the issues of socially inclusive design for the future. Admission is free.
