These shoes were made for walking and shopping

‘Shopping shoes’ are usually flat, comfy things designed to take the pain from a days’ tramping around, but the term takes on a new meaning courtesy of Design Ministry.

The group predicts satellite technology for mobile phones could be transplanted into shoes, which will guide the wearer to their favourite retail haunts by tuning into bleepers installed in shops.

We are not sure if this one will take off, unless mankind becomes even more reliant on external forces to make all its decisions.
