Burton closing date

Retailer The Burton Group has now closed the public competition to choose itself a new name (DW 18 July). It will mark a demerger of the group, which will split the Debenhams department stores from the fashion chains such as Burton Menswear.

A group spokeswoman says the number of entries will be detailed later this month. Entries postmarked up to 1 September will be considered.
