Maternity mail-order firm expands into the retail arena

Lumsden Design Partnership’s third mail-order client enters the retail environment today with the opening of Blooming Marvellous. It follows Racing Green and kitchenware chain Lakeland, which unveiled revamped interiors last week.

Blooming Marvellous is a maternity and childrenswear company, with its 150m2 flagship store on London’s Fulham Road.

“The whole thing is about reassurance,” says consultancy managing director Callum Lumsden. Features include a “pamper corner” for shoulder massages, and play and seating areas.
