Belgian designer Dirk Bikkembergs is launching his Mat gym mat in the UK, part of the contemporary Carte Blanche furniture range. Mat will be available at Bulo, which is opening its second London showroom on 10 May in Butler’s Wharf. The 2x1m gym mat is also designed to be used as a floor cover, seat, table or wall. The range features designs by Maarten van Severen and ‘allows contemporary designers to re-interpret the workspace’, says a Bulo spokesman.
