In its latest brochure, entitled Say What you Mean, the consultancy asks whether we really know the meaning of phrases such as Lawkes-a-mussy, Gor Blimey and Gosh.

So if you want to be thinking outside the box, get on the front foot and start swimming up-stream – early doors.

Alternatively, get yourself down to any Soho battleship cruiser, have a couple of Britney Spears, listen to a bit of the bunny and you’ll soon be talking gravel and grit with the best of them.
