WPP has added research and branding consultancy Icon Brand Navigation to its global portfolio of design consultancies.

“Icon will work closely with Enterprise IG in the branding field, but it will remain autonomous within the WPP Group,” a WPP spokeswoman says.

Icon employs 220 people in eight European offices, including Milan, Paris and New York. It is no relation to Icon Brandlab which has been acquired by FutureBrand Worldwide (DW 9 March).

Icon clients include Lufthansa, Kellogg’s, Kodak, Nokia, Dresdner Bank and Siemens.
