Anglepoise has introduced the IT 2000 Task Lamp, designed in-house, which reproduces natural daylight characteristics. The system uses a multi-lens polarising panel to replicate the effect of the Earth’s atmosphere on natural sunlight.

Future Dates

The first annual Global Wine Packaging & Merchandising Design Awards will be launched in early September with a deadline of 18 October for receipt of entries. The awards aim to recognise innovation in the wine trade.

The Traditional Dolls House Company has been ordered to pay compensation to Honeychurch Toys for selling copies of its dolls’ houses. The Anti Copying in Design group fought for the compensation ruling.
