Design Bridge targets women with port brand

Design Bridge has created the brand identity for Warre’s ten-year-old port, Otima.

The oak-aged tawny port comes in an unconventional wine bottle shape and aims to appeal to women. “Otima has a feminine look and feel and breaks the boundaries of the traditional dark, masculine port language,” says Design Bridge creative director Graham Shearsby.

“We’ve used the graphics to accentuate the bottle height and colour of the port. The simple, sophisticated typography helps to give a modern day twist to a sector steeped in heritage,” he adds.
