Revolution spawns Mesh

A start-up design consultancy has been formed by a number of the employees made redundant by the closure of Revolution’s interiors division (DW 23 April).

The 11-strong group, called Mesh Creative, includes five former Revolution staff. It has been set up with an equal stakeholding for every employee.

The group is looking to offer a broad range of services from branding and interiors to new media and graphics. “We are not going down the pure graphics or pure interiors route,” says Mesh Creative director, and former Revolution interiors director Eddie McAtomoney.

“We are looking at a number of important retail projects for the future and have already taken on a substantial amount of new media work,” he says.

Other former Revolution staff at Mesh Creative are director Stephen Richardson, plus Peter Crossley, Mark Moring and Dan Potter.
