Barbara and Zafer Baran have designed the poster for this year’s Turkish Film Festival, which will be held at the Rio Cinema in London’s Dalston from this Friday until 17 December. The design will also be applied to programmes and advertising material. According to Barbara Baran the tulip was selected for its historical association with Turkey. The image used on the poster will also be part of an exhibition by the Baran’s, which is due to take place at the Blue Gallery in London in March next year.
Design outfit Studio Texture has led the redesign, keeping the previous Pentagram-designed logo but introducing new colours, typography and tone of voice.
