Former cod-God shrine is new office for Marking

In our rush to praise the postroom at Camron PR last week, we failed to bring you Giles Marking’s philosophical bid for Pseud’s Corner.

Launching Marking Design (DW 21 November), his press release noted the consultancy is housed in a ‘former non-religious chapel of Positivism, where the congregation used to sing hymns dedicated not to God, but to Science and Humanity’.

Marking himself was furnished with the quote, ‘We are delighted to have taken over this elegant home of Positivist thinking and trust we shall all be imbued with its spirit in our work’.

Nothing like raising the intellectual stakes, eh? Their pitch documents should make edifying reading.
