Lack of comprehension is added to the failings list

In response to the many people who have written to voice indignation at my alleged slight upon designers’ writing abilities, it was their spelling that I remarked upon, not their ability to actually write.

Which all goes to show that a lack of comprehension can now be added to their failings.

As a further comment on my original letter (Letters, DW 31 October), perhaps your readers would all check their dictionaries for the correct meaning of irony.
