Why wasn’t there more creatives in the great list?
Why didn’t architect Sir Christopher Wren, artist JMW Turner, sculptor Grinling Gibbons or architect and designer Charles Rennie Mackintosh feature in the list of the BBC’s 100 Great Britons?
Come on, let’s give credit where credit’s due. Can someone reassure me, please, that we are all not just whistling in the wind in this country.
