Client wraps annual report brief in red tape

Getting client sign-off on a project is often an art in itself, but one story of client bureaucracy takes the cake.

Said admin-loving client deemed it necessary to have 26 different individuals approve each copy change for one annual report. Result – 12 rewrites and more than 90 picture changes, owing to a similar process on image approval.

Despite the stress, there was one consolation – it ended up as a very profitable account. Probably because every other design consultancy ran a mile from its other briefs.
