All posh titles and not enough experience

I found the sentiments expressed in Warwick Dipple’s letter (DW 18 November) to echo my own exactly, having been in the design business for a similar number of years. My experience of the marketplace has been virtually identical: lots of grander (marketing) titles, but less and less experience of the designer’s role in the marketing mix.

As for Mr Saag (Letters, DW 18 November), he obviously has no respect for his compatriots, so how does he expect clients to have any?

Perhaps designers have been a little pompous in the past, but we are certainly not prats, we care deeply about our profession.
