New TV channel seeks image

SelecTV, which makes Lovejoy and Birds of a Feather, is looking for designers to create an on-screen identity for its cable TV channel launching in March.

Janet Goldsmith, who is in charge of new business development at the independent television production company, says: `We will have a pitch in early January.’

The general entertainment channel will run for 59 hours a week broadcasting its own 300-hour library of programmes, as well as acquired shows.
