Royal British legion wears new badge

The Royal British Legion is being relaunched with a new identity (pictured) by Michael Peters Ltd.

Unveiled on Wednesday, the image is intended to associate the legion unambiguously with the poppy, and make it more modern and approachable, says MPL director Peter Sampson.

The lion insignia has been dropped and the poppy and logo integrated. The image features white type on a royal blue background and will be rolled out to stationery and signs as required.
