Observer gets Berliner treatment

The Observer will become the first full-colour Sunday newspaper this weekend, relaunching in the Berliner format under a redesign by Garcia Media founder Mario Garcia.

Working alongside Observer art director Carolyn Roberts, Garcia has created a look distinct from The Observer’s sister paper, The Guardian, says a Guardian Newspapers spokeswoman.
