We may be splitting hairs, but Edge gave no credit

Cheers to Wolff Olins senior designer Jon Edge for lifting a quote for his FT Creative Business column from Howard Milton’s UPS identity-bashing letter (DW 17 April) and mentioning neither Milton nor our esteemed organ.

At least we were able to laugh off this heinous slight by spotting the juxtaposition of Jon’s mugshot with his ‘logos are to brands as haircuts are to people’ claim.

At first glance, the image crop and dark backdrop combined to give him a Nescafé-style Afro. Now that’s what we call full flavour behaviour.
