WPP builds branding to identity group

WPP has reorganised the bulk of its design interests to create a new brand identity and design grouping.

Named B to D Group, the umbrella organisation will include Addison, Enterprise IG, and Lambie-Nairn, Landor Associates and The Partners, which still sit under Y&R Brands within WPP, and New York-based The Helm and Walker Group.

San Francisco-based Landor chairman and chief executive Craig Branigan becomes chief executive officer.

‘We can take a look at the broader benefits to help strengthen the [individual] companies, share back-room facilities and share opportunities,’ says Branigan of the move.

However, he insists there is no plan to merge consultancies. ‘We are not looking at sharing intellectual capital,’ he explains.
