Michael Peters’ family firm diversifies

London’s black cab drivers are renowned for their jovial banter and, it would now seem, for their inside contacts in the design industry.

One DW reader, obviously betrayed by his standard designer-issue black suit, was recently asked ‘You in architecture or design?’ by his affable driver.

Upon replying that interior design was his chosen career, the driver claimed his brother-in-law was ‘big in design’.

And who would that be? ‘He’s called Michael Peters.’
