Red noses have had their day. The latest charity stunt aiming to make us look as silly as possible under the pretence of raising money is Beating Bowel Cancer’s Loud Tie Day.
To launch this event, designer Brian Green, who created the charity’s new identity, has designed a giant, tasteless, 43m-high tie which will hang off the side of the LWT building in central London for a week from yesterday. This was to inspire the suited among us to be creative with our cravats.
Those of us who never wear suits to work had better sharpen up our act.
