Omstak chair sees 25 years

Happy 25th birthday to the Omstak chair designed in 1971 by Rodney Kinsman of OMK Design.

A million worldwide have been manufactured. The Omstak has been exhibited at the Victoria & Albert Museum, the Design Museum, the Philadelphia Museum of Modern Art and the Museum fr Angewandte Kunst Koln.

Celebrations are underway and include a relaunch of the chair with a soft finish which Kinsman describes as “ballistic”.
