Claims denied by Wolff Olins

Wolff Olins has refuted claims made by an unnamed senior employee that the group is under pressure from its owner Omnicom to shed up to 50 per cent of its workforce by the end of the year.

The source had suggested 20 redundancies were imminent, with another 20 to follow at the end of October and a further 30 in December if business did not pick up.

A Wolff Olins spokeswoman maintains the consultancy, rather than Omnicom, sets its own performance targets. However, she confirms around 12 jobs could go from the group’s London office.
